In 2020, Blueleaf Energy acquired a majority stake in Vibrant Energy Holdings Pte Ltd (Vibrant Energy).

Vibrant Energy is experienced in solar development and specialises in procuring open access, utility-scale Power Purchase Agreement (“PPA”) projects with Commercial and Industrial customers across India.

Blueleaf Energy’s global customer base and technical expertise, combined with Vibrant Energy’s strong local knowledge and pipeline of projects, presents an exciting opportunity to help C&I customers achieve their decarbonisation goals.

Japan: Hinode

Blueleaf Energy and Univergy International have announced the creation of Hinode Energy, a specialised large scale solar energy platform in Japan.

Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, Hinode Energy will develop an initial portfolio of over 200 MW across the country. By bringing together the collective expertise and experience of Univergy and Blueleaf, Hinode will deliver world-class solar energy projects to help Japan achieve its decarbonization goals.

Solar is well-tested and highly supported by the local market, accounting for 87% of the nation’s total renewable energy capacity
Hinode has a development pipeline 1 GW across Japan
