Blueleaf Energy’s India Country Head, Pratyush Thakur, is scheduled to speak at the CII Karnataka Annual Energy Transition Conference 2025 in Bengaluru, India, on 7 August 2025. He will exchange insights with fellow industry leaders on how India is redefining its renewable energy landscape, from grid-connected, utility-scale solar farms, to decentralized, distributed rooftop installations.

This conference brings together policymakers, industry practitioners, and innovators to discuss Karnataka’s pivotal role in India’s ambitious decarbonization goals, including its targets of 500 GW of renewable energy by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2070. The conference will emphasize the vital need for collaboration, strategic investment, and technology to achieve these national objectives.

Mr. Thakur will be joining the panel session titled “Renewable Generation – Utility Scale to Rooftop Solar,” scheduled for Thursday at 11:50 AM IST. During this session, the panelists will discuss the evolution of India’s solar market, from utility-scale to rooftop systems, examining deployment models, financing, regulations, and emerging technologies.
