2 July 2026 | Energy Storage Asia

Ram Natarajan, our CEO, will join the 4th edition of Energy Storage Asia this year, which will take place from 1-3 July at the QSNCC in Bangkok, Thailand.

Session Details

Mr. Natarajan will take part in the keynote panel, What are the Implications of the ASEAN Renewable Energy Long-term Roadmap?, taking place on July 2, 2026 from 9:50-10:40am. The panel will be moderated by Andy Colthorpe, Deputy Editor in Chief, Energy Storage News and also feature Nadhilah Shani, Head of the Power Generation and Interconnection Department for the ASEAN Centre for Energy and a senior executive from the Thailand Energy Storage Technology Association (TESTA).

This panel will explore questions around:

  • What 2026–2030 moves will unlock storage bankability, ancillary markets, storage-ready codes, and guaranteed offtake/cost recovery?
  • How will we replace gas flexibility, what revenue stacks and contracts will finance 4–8h BESS, pumped hydro, and LDES at scale?
  • How should the APG prioritise links and rules by 2030/2035 so storage trades services across borders, and who pays vs. benefits?
  • What policy frameworks and auction models should Southeast Asia adapt now to speed storage and grid upgrades?
  • What roadmap design fixes will align with market realities and investor risk/return, including the post-2035 integration crunch?
