Advancing Asia’s energy transition is a journey that requires collective action. At Blueleaf Energy, we believe a truly sustainable future is built on a foundation of trust and shared expertise with the communities and stakeholders we serve. Our recent joint Raya Appreciation Luncheon with Universal Peak (UP) in Kuala Lumpur was a testament to this spirit. It brought together key stakeholders from Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Single Buyer, and Tenaga Nasional Berhad to reaffirm our commitment to Malaysia’s National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR).

Our partnership with UP is a clear example of this collaborative approach in action. Through our joint venture, BKHM BESS Sdn Bhd, we are developing a landmark 100 MW / 400 MWh utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Kedah. Selected through the inaugural MyBeST program, this project represents one of the largest grid-connected BESS deployments in Peninsular Malaysia. By combining Blueleaf’s international experience in renewable energy infrastructure with the specialized local engineering capabilities of UP, we are helping to ensure the Malaysian grid remains resilient and ready to support the next wave of clean energy.
Our UP partnership exemplifies how we operate across Asia. We align technical excellence with local insights to deliver bankable and high-impact energy solutions. We do more than just build assets; we foster the coordination required to ensure quality, safety, and long-term sustainability. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to working with our partners to ensure every project serves as a benchmark for excellence in the region’s journey toward a carbon-neutral future.
