The RUVNL Solar Farm is Blueleaf Energy’s second utility-scale power plant in India. The 140-megawatt peak (MWp) facility, is anticipated to be the first in Blueleaf Energy and Jakson Green’s three-project Rajasthan Solar Portfolio to reach its commercial operation date (COD), with financial close and commissioning expected to be achieved in 2025.
Upon completion, the RUVNL Solar Farm is projected to generate 260 gigawatt hours (GWh) of green energy annually, enough to power over 250,000 Indian households. Further, the delivery of this solar project will prevent 180,000 tons of CO2 emissions (CO2e) per year, equivalent to removing over one million cars from the roads.
Rajasthan Solar Portfolio
Blueleaf Energy and Jakson Green partnered in January of 2025 to deliver three solar farms in Rajasthan. Located in northwestern India, the Rajasthan Solar Portfolio, is a substantial 980 MWp initiative valued at 400 million USD.
Development began on the Rajasthan Solar Portfolio in 2024, with commissioning for the entire portfolio slated to complete in 2026. Once fully operational, the portfolio is projected to deliver nearly 2 million GWh of green energy annually and prevent nearly one million tons of CO2e per year.
