Establish appropriate communication procedures between the WHSEQ PMC, project and HQ teams for the relevant function and issue resolution.
Organize and participate in the periodical project quality coordination meetings/ Tele conference calls with relevant stakeholders.
Supervision of contractor’s construction quality works at site against the agreed contract with reference to approved design and timelines. The QA manager is expected to be available full-time at site for supervision and management work during site activities.
Method statement review & implementation for all planned activities at site. For all planned activities, proper/relevant checklists shall be prepared and used, and each such activity shall be documented and signed off by the PMC QA, along with observation/comments with clear recommendations.
Ensure Document management and control in line with ISO 9001-2015, IFC guidelines and blue leaf energy requirements.
Review/Audits of construction works in compliance with QA requirements and Quality standards (QAP). Timely (Scheduled) reports on Gaps identified, root cause identification for gaps / non-conformance and management plan for timely closure of identified gaps and rejection of non-conforming materials or job. Ensure closure of gaps identified in timely manner.
Monitoring and reporting of the contractor’s procurement plan for timely supply & material reconciliation and as per the agreed spec and standards.
Monitoring of receipt and issuance of “incoming material inspection report” materials as defined in EPC/Services contract and final reconciliation.
Ensuing & verifying the site compliance/applicable government permits as per BOCW act /Rajasthan rule /CEA guidelines/ Blue leaf QA requirement.
Verify and Certify the Work Completion Certificates and Material Delivery Certificates (in compliance with Quality requirements) submitted by EPC contractor/Services contractor and provide recommendation for invoicing as per payment milestones in contract.
Review and certify the Field quality deviation Requests if any raised by contractor, in co-ordination with blue leaf quality head & project team.
Ensuing material management system, supervising store, store audit and material incoming inspection & ensuring material reconciliation & any short fall of material.
Developing & reviewing the QA SOP, checklist, method statement & necessary document as per site requirement/Blue leaf Energy if suggested.
Assist the site team in resolving Design, QA, contract and site management, relevant regulatory requirements etc. related issues, formulating methodology for implementation of site erection activities.
Additional Roles & Responsibility
- Review & Monitor erection, Pre-commissioning & commissioning for all related systems, equipment, activities, etc.
- Review of documents for testing and commissioning processes and certification of test reports submitted by contractor
- Coordinate with Owner engineer/PMC WHSEQ / Contractor for planning and monitoring of the testing and commissioning activities of the plant including substation
- Supervision & Witness of Testing & Commissioning of equipment / systems of the Solar plant and sign-off, in line with the approved checklist
- Witness the performance tests as per Contract criteria and provide certified report along with project manager & PMC WHSEQ team
- Assist the site WHSEQ PMC team in preparation of punch list and project closure documentation
- Coordinate and monitor the handover process from projects to services as per the agreed handover process
What Makes You a Great Fit
- B. Tech /M. Tech in engineering & ISO certified 8–15-year experience in solar QA industry & commissioning experience person shall be preferred
