Conergy Japan K.K., has built for Thai company Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC) and Girana Anuman-Rajadhon, Owner of GA ECO Group, a 25.88 MWp ground mounted solar PV power plant in Ichinoseki, Iwate prefecture.

Conergy Japan partnered with Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co., Ltd. for site preparation work and Taihei Technos Co., Ltd. for the installation and construction of the plant.

Conergy’s technical team adapted to challenging terrains of the (35ha.) former cattle ranch site to a PV plant by utilizing in-house expertise in civil and electrical engineering and the latest geo-spatial technology.

“The project to develop a solar farm in Ichinoseki City in Iwate Prefecture in the northern region of Honshu of Japan is the first project that the company has started investing outside Thailand and AEC.” said Dr. Toemchai Bunnag, President of GPSC.

Hideyuki Otaka, Managing Director, Conergy Japan says “We are proud to be retained in the Ichinoseki project as the construction partner and EPC service provider for GPSC after having successfully developed the project from its beginning to the point of ready-to-build and financial close.”

Alexander Lenz, Conergy CEO added, “Today’s world is increasingly heading towards cleaner energy. As demand for renewable energy continues to accelerate, energy providers need a wide range of technology options to effectively meet evolving demands. We are very pleased to be able to partner with GPSC and help them to execute their vision of expanding energy generation across Asia Pacific.
